19 months

Our Special Girl is 19 months old. She is 30lbs and standing 33 inches tall. She is built just like her Pops Martin with a nice little pot belly. We have to go today and buy all new shirts because evidently she is growing and all the shirts that fit last week are now mid drifts. Brady is full of energy and has more attitude than she knows what to do with it. She is talking up a storm but I can only catch a true word once in a while. She can say mommy, daddy, pops, poppa, Matthew, thank you, please, eat, snack, milk, juice, water, potty, uh oh, ewe, poo poo, pee pee, and a lot of other words that we are not quit sure what they are yet. We have started introducing her to the potty chair. Right now she only wants to carry it around with her after bath time and then sit on it with her books.

A special treat from Gramma Diltz for a very special and spoiled little granddaughter. Brady was so excited to get the sparkly flip flops. She was able to kinda get them on herself. After the mail came she was in the whole rest of the day saying 'side 'side. It was raining out and there was no way that we were going outside.

Coloring with Brady. She colored for a little bit (3 minutes) and then decided it was snack time with the crayons. I don't know how her school teachers get all the kids in her class to sit at a table and color. I had the hardest time just making sure that the crayons stayed out of her mouth and obviously I didn't do a good job of that.

Fort Ruckers - Helicopter Museum

Honey & Pops

76 Foxtrot - Enterprise, Alabama

My brother Baron is in helicopter school at Fort Ruckers in Enterprise, Alabama.
Family Day Feb 11, 2011 was awesome. Honey and Pops drove in from Abilene, Texas (~16ish hours) and BJ, Brady, and I drove from Tuscaloosa (~3 hours). So we made a day of it at the air field. Above picture is my little brother. I cant believe anyone has given him a helicopter to fly even after looking at his driving record or even after looking at the truck he drives. It was awesome to see him.

Mom is so Proud of her little boy. All grown up.

The Baron Martin Family. Uncle Baron, Aunt Lacey, and Charlie 6 months old.

THE Martin Family.

Hearing protection was required and enforced by Police Honey. Brady kept hers on for approximately 5 minutes.

18 Months - Feb 6, 2011

What a Big Girl!! Brady is using a fork. Only BJ and I could be so proud of our little grown girl . . . well maybe her grandparents they may be more proud. She started out using her left hand and then her right. Now she uses which ever hand she wants to but the majority of time she uses her left. Look out Vann we may have a left handed pitcher. Roll Tide Roll!!!

Stabbing and scooping were the method of choice but occassionally when the black beans would not make it on the spoon she would put the beans on the spoon and then put it in her mouth.

Brady was so proud of herself. Dont you just LOVE her smile?

18 Months Old: She is again at a park but in Tuscaloosa and she is again in the yellow outfit. I love this outfit. It is just too cheery and it makes me smile. Of course who wouldnt smile at this beautiful expression.

Visiting Family

We had planned on trying to make it to Dallas for the Cotton bowl game A&M vs lsu but instead we drove only 3 hours instead of 9 to Enterprise, Alabama to visit with Baron (my brother), Lacey, and Charlie. It was a great visit. Brady had a blast playing or rather not sharing his toys with her cousin.

Fightin' Texas A&M Aggies class of 2031 and 2032!!
Somebody needs to learn to share!
Good morning sleepy heads!!!

Family Picture Time.

It was a great weekend and we cant wait to see them again.
