The Year of the Sassy Princess

BRADY SUPER PRINCESS.  Yes I am calling it now. (January review)

This was Brady's shopping outfit that she picked out for the day.  Needless to say she got LOTS of attention  (I made the shirts and capes for all my nieces and nephews for Christmas.)

Trip to Nashville, TN

I went to the NSCA conference while Brady and BJ hung out with Rick.  The highlight of the vacation was the Cotton Bowl Party sporting our Johnny Football shirts (Thank you Jennifer Martin).  It was a great night. GIG EM!!!  WHOOP!!!

US Space and Rocket Center Huntsville, Alabama

On our way back to Tuscaloosa we stopped for a couple of nights with some great friends Tad and Leah Driver.  We had a great time at the Space Center, eating pizza, going to a Brewery, and Celebrating with the Crimson Tide in their defeat over Notre Dame for their 15th National Championship.  Brady had a great time and loved that she even got her own room with toys and got to play dress-up Barbie on Leah's "epad".

Roll Tide.  Last minute Brady covered up BJ's Gig Em sign but notice he is the only one not wearing Crimson.

 Snow Day (3 hours) 2013

It started snowing around lunch so of course school was canceled.  Brady was so excited I had the hardest time getting her to put on her hat and gloves.  She had a great time throwing snow balls, making frosty the snow girl, snow angels, and sliding down the hill in the backyard.  That night she also asked me if Santa Claus was going to leave her presents again.

This year I have started a group on Facebook "Do Something EVERYDAY"

I have been posting workouts, tips, motivation and just straight up making my friends and family feel guilty if they even think about not doing something.  I have had fun challenging others to lead healthier lives but also showing Brady that you can make it fun.  Hopefully I am leading by example and having impact on the lives around me.

Resolutions:

1. Reading the Bible - I have been keeping up with the all the readings per week.  If I get behind I can usually catch up on the weekends.  I am finding the Old Testament  . . . very interesting.
2. Eating at the table - we are doing really well with this.  I have found that I really enjoy sitting at the table talking with BJ and Brady.  I also found that I am more productive after dinner.
3.  Writing family members - not so great this month but I have a plan for next month.
4.  Being wife and mother - hopefully I am doing a great job.  I havent got any complaints.
