On Saturday August 27, 2011 BJ and I left our sweet little angel sleeping at 5am to fly to Colorado for two days. No worries we left her with both grandmothers. Honey and Gramma drove 12 hours for the weekend to watch our girl. We arrived in Denver, CO at 1pm. After we got a rental car upgrade to a brand new F150 (BJ was HAPPY) we drove to Stranahan's a Colorado Whiskey distillery. We toured and then we sampled and of course we had to buy a bottle.
After the whiskey adventure we drove for two hours through the mountains to Copper Mountain Village. It was awesome!! We arrived at Snowflake Condominiums where we roomed with Josh and Allison Babb. After getting stuff organized we drove to Vail with BJ's friends Allison Babb and her husband Josh and Nick Woods and his girlfriend Mary Beth. It was so cool. We had dinner at a Pizza place.
After a late night of hanging out with friends BJ and I were up and ready for the day. With a beautiful morning calling us we were out of the condo and ready for a run/walk through the village. The temperature change from HOT and humid to cool and dry was a nice change. We walked through Copper Mtn Village and then had breakfast next to a river at a little cafe. Next was to get ready for the wedding. At 10:30am we road up the ski lift to the chapel on top of the mountain to attend Rebekah Ferguson and John Duke's wedding.

What a Crew? 4 Aggies, 1 Longhorn, and an Auburn Tiger. Lots of good times and lots of good . . . Gross, disgusting stories.

It was a great weekend. Lots of friends and good times. I think BJ is even convinced that he needs to get a Facebook account.
