New Things

9 1/2 Months
21 lbs 10 oz
30 inches long
Brady has now decided that being feed by mom is so uncool. She throws a fit and clinches her mouth shut. So I have now been thrown into a panic on WHAT DO I FEED MY CHILD other than cereal puffs?
After about an hour of researching on-line and calling my mom wondering what to feed her I have come up with a plan. Tonights meal consisted of cheese, tuna fish, and roasted sweet potatoes. I feel like such a good suzy home maker mom of the year that I had to share.
Other fun facts from the Diltz Family: Brady said Momma and Dadda, she is on the verge of crawling, and almost pulling herself up. My Golf team won the SEC conference and just finished 3rd at the National Tournment. Softball won SEC regular season and SEC Tourny, is the #1 seed in the NCAA Tourny, and just advanced to Super Regionals where they will face Hawaii. We are having a great year and the summer is almost here.

FLUM Weekday Kids

BYE BYE BUGGY!!
4 year old graduation
&
Teacher Appreciation Day!
All the classes demonstrated what they do all day while their parents are at work.
Bouncy Babies class made visors to make sure on their daily walks around the neighborhood that the sun is not in their eyes. Brady comes home everyday smelling of sunscreen. The teachers for her class were so excited about the craft they got to do with the kids. Brady's is PINK!! She is the diva princess of the class. I would expect nothing less.
Brady with her boyfriend Lane. Lane is the only kid that is allowed to play or ride near princess Brady. He is the only one that she tolerates in her space. As you can see the visors really block the sun out of their eyes and they make great chew toys.

Brady will move up to the 1 year old class in August but first she has to master crawling, drinking from a sippy cup, and eating fingers foods.

First Trip to ZOO

First trip to the BHM Zoo. Brady was more interested in chewing on her shoulder restraints than looking at the animals. Just a smiling happy Brady.

Petting Zoo with the Pigmy goats. Daddy was checking everything out while Gramma was trying to figure out how she could take one home with her. She just didnt understand why she couldnt have one in the city limits when her dogs are bigger than the goats.
Brady was fascinated with the flamingos. She was smiling and kicking her legs when they got close. I think that they reminded her of her stuffed flamingo that is her favorite chew toy/bed buddy. Hopefully the good experience with the flamingos will last while the bite on the finger from the lorikeets will not.
She got tired of the stroller so she got to ride in the front pack. my back is so sore. trying to get a good family picture is getting harder and harder. The three of us are never all looking at the camera at the same time. so I picked the one where i looked the best. :)

After a long day at the zoo looking at animals but mostly watching the other kids running around Brady was exhausted and crashed on the way out of the Alabama Wild area. I really wanted to get some more good pictures but oh well.

What a fun day with Brady and a new adventure for us. BJ and I are really excited about visiting the zoo when she notices the animals.

Brady is growing up so fast. I cant believe that she is already closer to one than newborn. On so other great blogs that I visit frequently they were asking the question . . .Why did you name you kid(s) the names you did?

Brady Nikol Diltz

Brady - Brady is my mother's maiden names (Darlene Ann Martin)

Nikol - named after me (Michelle Nikol)

We wanted to use family names and luckly we have great ones to choose from. If we have another child some part of the name will be Hagen named after BJ's moms maiden name.
