1st Merry Christmas: Part III

Christmas Day at the Martin House

Our little drooling Christmas present.

Nothing like your first Christmas being snow covered.

Martin Family Christmas tree. I think Honey and Pops went a little over board but this is what it looked like before I put the gifts for everyone under the tree and then the gifts from Nana and Deedee. Picture 8 grown adults and three children in this room once the opening started. It was caos.

Brady with Great Nana and Great Deedee Martin.

Having the whole family together was great! I always loved holidays at our house Mom and Dad always made them so special for all of us. My parents would go without so many things just so that we could have what we wanted. I hope that Baron, Bethany, and I can someday repay our parents for the loving home that they gave us. This Christmas was just a start. Seeing my mom and dad so happy with their grandchildren was one of the happiest time of my life. Brady's 1st Christmas will always be one of my favorites. I love you Honey and Pops!!!

1st Merry Christmas: Part II

On the road to Abilene, Texas
We left College Station in what should have been plenty of time to get to Abilene before the sun set but with the wind blowing between 40 -50 mph, the heavy snow, and the ice covered roads the 4 hour trip turned into a 6 hour long stressful trip. From the picture above you can tell that we were still on the road at sunset and we were just in Comanche. At this point in our drive we were traveling at a whopping speed between 15 - 30 mph. We did finally make it to Abilene with out an incident or accident! On the arrival to Honey and Pops house (my parent's house) we had to pry BJ's white knuckled gripped fingers off the steering wheel. Happy Christmas Eve!!!

1st Merry Christmas: Part I

Christmas in College Station, Texas

We started our Christmas adventure on the road for 11 hours to visit Great Uncle Todd and Great Aunt "Grant" Julie.

Brady also got to meet her Great Grammie Hagen. 4 generations!! How wonderful to be able to share our precious angel.

Brady also got to hang out shortly with Daddy's good friend Don. What could be better than coming home to see friends and family.

Sorry Irma, we really wanted to get to see you but it was such a short trip and we were trying to make it to Abilene before the snow storm hit. . .
