We have really enjoyed being parents. Our nights are full of dirty diapers, feeding a very hungry girl, and cuddling with a very cute and beautiful baby girl. I will try and do a better job updating the blog. Thank you to all of you that have been checking in and wanting to see what is going on in our lives.

On day five Brady had her first adventure with a picture shoot. She was a perfect angel and looks like one too. She only had to have two diaper changes, cried only during wardrobe changes, needed only one bottle, and peed on Daddy only once.

I want to thank every nurse and doctor that was by our side the entire time that we were in labor and after. The Northport DCH Women's Pavilion nurses and doctors go above and beyond to make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible. Thank you again for the great stay and for delivering our beautiful daughter.

The Adventures of Brady's Birth:

Tuesday August 4, 2009: Checked into the hopital to have labor induced.

Induced labor begins at 8:30pm, 32 hours, Pitocin, 2 epidurals (the first only made the right side numb), dialating 8.5 cm (I was already 1.5 when I went in), 100% effaced, no food for 29 hours, numerous popcicles, BJ being a supportive and loving husband, Brady "sunny side up" (she was in the wrong position), Dr. Myers manually repositioning her to the right position, pushing for over an hour, Brady's head being opstructed by pubic bone, having spinal tap, and 1 C-Section later . . .

Thursday August 6, 2009 at 5:15am Brady was born healthy and as beautiful as BJ and I could ever hope for.
