My First Gun Experience

Skeet Shooting
BJ, Nick, Robin and I all went skeet shooting with one of our neighbors. The property was beautiful and BJ was so excited. I on the other hand was very nervous since I had never held a gun more of less shot a gun at a moving target. I LOVE IT!!! It was so cool. I want to find a skeet range now that we can go shoot at more often. I started out relaxed and having fun just enjoying the experience but soon I was getting competitive (I know everyone is shocked at that). I hit 3 but BJ hit 12. He is my hero. I however want a rematch bc since then I have learned that I am left eye dominant and I was shooting with my right eye open. After we left BJ was ready to go out and buy me my own gun. I loved the experience of shooting at skeet but I could never kill or shoot at an animal. I cant wait to go again. Thank you Grill family and Rhoden family for sharing this experience with us.

Honey and Pops Visit

After our little trip down to Enterprise Honey and Pops came and spent three days in Tuscaloosa playing with Brady. I would say they came to visit us but the truth is that they came to visit Brady. She is and will always be the center of attention. Pops and Brady bonded and she would go to him before Honey which I think hurt her feeling just a little. Honey still snuck in some hugs and kisses though.

Brady LOVES her push toys. She was showing off her walking ability to Honey and Pops. She has since learned to walk and will walk all over the place except when she needs to get to the stairs fast and then she crawls at warp speed.

We all went shopping for Brady a new pair of shoes. The shoes that we bought her in July were already too small. Honey and Pops bought her her first pair of Nike shoes with a pink swoosh. She wears them proudly every day to school so now what were nice cute white shoes are not nice cute brown shoes.

Enterprise, Alabama

Brady has a new cousin
and he just moved to Alabama

Uncle Baron (my brother), Aunt Lacey and Charlie Owen Martin moved to Enterprise, Alabama 9 days after charlie was born. Uncle Baron is now stationed at Fort Rucker for helicopter pilot school. Who would have ever thought that Baron and I would both be living in Alabama with our kids. Honey, Pops, BJ, Brady and I helped them get moved in on Aug 21st, 2010. Brady got to meet her new cousin and she was quite confused as to what this little things was. I cant believe that just over a year ago Brady was this small. They grow up so fast.

Time to Swing!!

Just a Swingin'
Poppa D and Gramma got Brady her very first swing set for the backyard. BJ had a great time putting it together but it was all worth it in the end to see this smiling face every time she gets in it.
