The month of being busy and being everywhere . . .
13.1 Miles:
Began with me running The Tuscaloosa Half Marathon on March 2. It was so cold outside. I ran okay finishing in 2 hours and 15 minutes. It was a great turn out for the first one held in TTown and it will help A LOT with the tornado recovery.Race pictures are always so flattering. |
At Mile 13 I got a HUGE smile and high five to put a little pep in my step. |
My AWESOME support team. |
Softball Games:
LOTS of COLD and multi layer softball games this spring. This is just one of the many frozen nose and fingers games. Keeping gloves and hat on a 3 year is a full time job. This is Brady posing. LOTS of ACTIVITY:Brady is in two days a week swim lessons at Bama Swim at the Rec Center. She absolutely loves it. Session 4 Brady was named Student of the month. She answered a couple of questions:
Favorite color - Sparkle hot pink
Favorite food - Nutella tortilla
Hobby- Playing with Barbies
Interesting fact- LOVES watching Doc McStuffins
Session 5 was a very different experience for all. She didnt have her favorite teacher Ms Vanna. Just a few quotes from facebook after the classes:
1. "Brady's teacher told me today that she was good just a little hyper. -- . . .Really thats why we have her in swim lessons"
2. "So today swim teacher told me Brady was sassy . . .once again REALLY? I dont know how she could be sassy with BJ and I as parents. NEVER."
So needless to say Brady is a character.
Brady is also in 1 day a week gymnastics that she absolutely LOVES at Bama Bounders. She doesnt want to go home at the end.
Kiss Me I am Part Irish:Happy St. Patrick's Day for FLUM Weekday kids. Brady dressed in her green shamrock shirt, took green cookies to share with her friends, took a book to share, and I packed her a totally green lunch. Fun times."Mingoes":We came home one afternoon to a yard full of pink flamingos. A little money donated later and Brady's new pet "mingos" were moved to another home to support the ATC students Relay for Life team.RRROARRRR:We were all of the place and time. We traveled back to Dinosaur time. The BHM Zoo had a members only "live" dinosaur exhibit. It was so cute and fun. Obviously Brady loved it. From that day on she played like everything was a T-Rex and we had to read ALL her dinosaur books. (FYI - Brady is now picking out her own outfits if any of you are questioning my dressing skills.)THINK GREENERIFIC:Happy for real St. Patricks day. Brady and I celebrated by going to Starbuck (I was out of filters) and getting our coffee. She was so excited to get her own "coffee".Daddy made green eggs, biscuits and bacon. (Yes I married a keeper.) MOVIE STAR:
Stack.com/4W came to video me and the Alabama Softball team. They filmed me coaching, teaching, the girls lifting, playing and then me cheering. It was crazy. It is amazing the compliments and the double takes you get when you put on make-up and fix your hair.
I now have a twitter accout @MichelleDiltz
I now have 2 articles published on Stack.com/4W and more to come.
To be continued: Trip to Texas for Spring Break . . . . |
